2 Introduction

This Data Usage Policy as provided by CVQuest is intended to Provide users with all the information that is needed to understand How Personal Data may be used by CVQuest, How Users can Access their Personal Data, What Personal Data is Shared with Third Parties and What those Third Parties may use that Personal Data for.

3 How Does CVQuest Use Personal Data

The Main function of the CVQuest Platform is to match potential candidates with employment opportunities listed by potential employers, as such both Candidates and Employers choose what personal data to share on the platform, CVQuest makes this data Publicly available to ensure the widest possible net and to ensure the greatest success in achieving this main function.

Aside from the above we may use personal Data for the following reasons, but not limited to;

1. To Conduct Credit Checks;
2. To Confirm and verify the identity of the Member;
3. for the detection and prevention of fraud, crime, money laundering or any other malpractice;
4. for audit and record keeping purposes;
5. For trouble shooting and system improvements;
6. in connection with legal proceedings; and
7. to comply with applicable laws, regulatory requirements or industry codes to which we subscribe, or which apply to use.

4 How Users can Access Personal Data

4.1 Website Users

Can submit a formal request to CVQuest in writing to gain access to any Personal Data CVQuest may have on that Website User.

4.2 Members

With the Goal and aim of Point 3 above in mind CVQuest provides Members with a platform in which to access, capture, Modify or delete their own personal Data.

This would exclude any Personal Data downloaded by a Third party such as a candidate and or an Employer.

This would also Exclude any Personal Data existing in Backups for CVQuest Portal, operational Code, Databases or any other system backups made to ensure the integrity of the system. Please Also See the Data Retention Policy

5 What Data is Shared and How

As stated in Section 3 of this document The Main function of the CVQuest Platform is to match potential candidates with employment opportunities listed by potential employers. CVQuest ensures that all Data listed in the Data Collection Policy as Public data is shared publicly to ensure maximum Reach to give Both Candidates an employers the best Chance of finding a suitable match.

Personal Data Marked as Private is not shared publicly unless compelled to by LAW, or for use of Auditing purposes.

6 What Third Parties May Do with your Data

As stated in Section 3 of this document The Main function of the CVQuest Platform is to match potential candidates with employment opportunities listed by potential employers.
However because publicly defined data (available in the Data Collection Policy) is available Publicly, CVQuest has no control over Publicly Available Personal Data if that Data has been Saved, Downloaded or any other way Disseminated by a third Party.

7 Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy is provided by CVQuest and is intended to Provide users with all the information that is needed to understand the Personal Data that CVQuest may have regarding Users, please see the Privacy Policy

8 Data Collection

Data Collection Defines what data is collected by CVQuest, how this Data is collected by CVQuest and the purpose for which this data is collected by CVQuest, please see the Data Collection Policy

9 Data Retention

Data retention Defines the Personal Data that CVQuest retains, the reason that CVQuest retains Certain Personal Data, please see the Data Retention Policy

10 Data Deletion

The Data Deletion Policy defines When CVQuest Deletes Personal Data, How Users may request for Personal Data to be Deleted, What Personal Data can be Deleted and what personal Data may be outside the Control of CVQuest and therefor unable to be deleted, Please see the Data Deletion Policy
