Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance.
Minimum Requirements
• 4–5 years' bookkeeping experience.
• Relevant bookkeeping, accounting or finance qualification will be advantageous.
• Experience with bookkeeping up to Trial Balance is essential.
• Experience using QuickBooks will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Must reside in Midrand or surrounding areas and be willing to commute daily.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
• Process and maintain accurate financial transactions.
• Perform daily bookkeeping functions.
• Process supplier invoices and customer payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, creditor and debtor accounts.
• Prepare journals and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with VAT-related documentation where required.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records up to Trial Balance.
• Assist with month-end procedures.
• Support the finance team with administrative and reporting duties.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
