Job Description:

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Installation Technician responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and fault-finding of CCTV systems, biometric access control, intruder alarm systems, and other security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

-Install, configure, and commission CCTV surveillance systems.

-Install and maintain biometric, card, and keypad access control systems.

-Install, program, and service wired and wireless intruder alarm systems.

-Perform fault-finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance on security systems.

-Ensure all installations comply with industry and client standards.

-Complete job cards and installation documentation accurately.

-Manage installation materials and equipment.

Requirements

-Matric / Grade 12.
-Valid driver's licence.
-Minimum 5 years' experience in the installation and maintenance of:
-CCTV surveillance systems.
-Biometric access control systems.
-Intruder alarm systems.
-CCTV installation certification (required).
-Alarm installation certification (required).
-PSIRA registration (advantageous).
-SAIDSA certification (advantageous).
-Clear criminal and credit record.
