Designer

To design and provide digital patterns for cover manufacture and the appropriate shop drawings thereof.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Create a visual representation of what a proposed structure should be using Auto Cad, Sketch Up, Inventor and NDN.
- To create proposal drawings and costs when requested.
- To design and provide tensioning systems for the covers, and the appropriate drawings thereof.
- To provide digital patterns for manufacture.
- To provide costings on proposed structures.
- To design complete working steel structures for the production and the appropriate shop drawings.
- To provide pegging diagrams for installation of standard and custom structures.
- To provide bill of materials for ordering of components for structures.
- The above must be within specific timelines provided by the Salesperson or within acceptable time lines.
- To support the Salesperson with technical information including floor plans, quick drawings, photos etc.
- To create designs of structures for consideration as future standard structures.
- To improve current designs of covers and metal work of standard structures.
