We are seeking a dynamic Seafreight Forwarding Manager with a proven track record in freight forwarding and team leadership to join our client's team in Gauteng. This role offers the chance to oversee endtoend seafreight operations, manage key client relationships, and drive performance across a critical logistics channel. Minimum 10 years’ Seafreight experience in the Freight Forwarding industry, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role Strong understanding of INCO Terms and international trade principles Knowledge of supply chain processes, container usage, and cargo clearance procedures Experience with rate and proposal implementation, international currencies, and freight forwarding document flow Proficiency in customs clearance procedures and statutory requirements Excellent critical thinking, problemsolving, and time management skills Proven ability to delegate, coach, mentor, and motivate teams Strong organizational skills with ability to execute business objectives and strategies Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Customercentric approach with strong communication skills (verbal and written) Financial acumen and sound administration skills Skilled in conflict management, change management, and team leadership Attributes: Assertiveness, initiative, proactivity, independence, integrity, and diplomacy Advantageous Attributes

Manage and oversee the freight movement of cargo Administration of shipment files Monitor and report on service provider performance Drive sales and client servicing within the Seafreight channel Financial management, including cost sheet signoff Ensure compliance with quality management system requirements
