Overall Purpose of the Position:
The Regional Coach (RC) is accountable for the full performance, capability, and culture of all restaurants within the assigned region. This role leads operational excellence, people development, compliance, and overall financial delivery by developing Area Coaches (ACs) and Restaurant Management teams through strong coaching discipline, clear expectations, and consistent execution. The RC ensures sustainable improvement in labour efficiency, COGS control, restaurant EBITDA, and operational standards while driving the leadership behaviours required for a highperformance, peoplecentered culture

Ideal Requirements
• Tertiary qualification in Business, Operations Management, Leadership, Finance, or a related field, supported by a formal executivelevel strategic qualification (e.g., Executive Development Programme, Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Management/Leadership, or equivalent).
• 5-7+ years senior multiunit operations leadership in QSR, FMCG, retail, hospitality or largescale service environments, with direct accountability for sales, profit, people and compliance across multiple locations.
• Deep operational expertise in multiunit systems and standards: service quality assurance, operational compliance, food safety & hygiene, labour scheduling & deployment, inventory accuracy, and COGS management.
• Advanced financial & analytical capability: P&L, budgeting, forecasting, variance management, EBITDA optimisation, and the ability to interpret financial, operational and people data to inform decisions and corrective action.
• Demonstrated experience leading regional restructures (e.g., org design, spans & layers, territory realignment) and implementing new performance frameworks/appraisal systems for multiunit leaders
• Proven ability to translate company strategy into an annual regional operating plan (AOP) with clear KPIs, cadence and governance (weekly/period/quarter reviews, dashboards, and followthrough).
• Proven track record of leading leaders: talent development, coaching quality, succession planning, and performance management that drives consistent highperformance behaviours across dispersed teams
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly in line with operational needs.

Future Evolution of this Role
As the business grows, and subject to organisational needs and individual performance, this role may evolve into:
• A multi-region strategic leader as the business grows.
• A key contributor to operational strategy design, not just execution.
• Operational Executive pipeline potential for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Personal Inherent Characteristics
• High personal accountability, discipline, and consistency.
• Courageous decision-making and willingness to address underperformance.
• Strong communication and influencing skills across all organisational levels.
• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and stability under pressure.
