Now Hiring: Fleet Planner (Transport Operations)

At Aspen Logistics, planning is where operational performance starts.

We're looking for a Fleet Planner who can take control of daily transport execution, not just someone who schedules loads, but someone who understands how planning decisions impact service, cost, and efficiency across the operation.

This role sits at the centre of everything: fleet utilisation, on-time delivery, driver coordination, and customer performance.

If you've worked in a real transport environment, you'll know, things change constantly. The right person for this role knows how to stay ahead of that.

What you'll be accountable for:

- Building and adjusting daily load plans in a live operational environment
- Allocating vehicles, trailers, and drivers for optimal utilisation
- Managing delays, breakdowns, and last-minute changes without losing control
- Coordinating subcontractors to support delivery requirements
- Ensuring POD flow, load accuracy, and billing readiness
- Maintaining visibility and control across all active loads

We're looking for someone who:

- Has 3-5 years' experience in fleet planning or transport logistics
- Has worked in refrigerated or time-sensitive transport
- Understands that planning is operational control, not admin
- Can make decisions quickly and confidently under pressure
- Is structured, detail-driven, and accountable for outcomes
- Communicates clearly with drivers, customers, and operations

- Germiston, Gauteng (on-site role).
