Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior IT Specialist to oversee, manage, and optimize our organization’s technology infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead IT initiatives while ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems across the organization
• Provide advanced technical support, diagnose complex issues, and implement effective solutions
• Monitor system performance, ensuring optimal uptime, reliability, and security
• Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including updates, patches, and threat mitigation
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls in line with best practices
• Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
• Develop, document, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards
• Collaborate with internal teams to align IT solutions with business needs

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar role
• Strong experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and Microsoft environments
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, systems infrastructure, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+), Cisco (CCNA), or Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Working knowledge of scripting or programming (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Experience with virtualization technologies and backup solutions
