Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and reliable IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical support to users, assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and help maintain our IT systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Log, track, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist with user account setup, access control, and software installations.
• Troubleshoot basic network connectivity and configuration issues.
• Support system maintenance and IT infrastructure projects.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
• Document troubleshooting steps and update knowledge base articles.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:
• Valid Code 8 driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently studying towards one).
• 1–3 years’ experience in an IT support role (advantageous but not essential).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of hardware, software, and basic networking concepts.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ will be advantageous.

Salary Range:
R6,000 – R15,000
