Job Description:

A well-established accounting and financial services firm based in Centurion is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Assistant Tax Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with solid experience in income tax and SARS submissions to take the next step in their career within a supportive and professional environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical tax knowledge, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and confidence in dealing directly with clients and SARS. If you are organised, reliable, and passionate about delivering accurate and compliant tax services, this role offers great exposure and growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Desired Experience & Qualification
• Relevant Income Tax qualification
• ±3 years’ experience in a similar tax-focused role
• Strong experience within the financial services / accounting environment
• Solid knowledge of income tax, provisional tax, and related submissions
• Experience with SARS e-filing (companies, trusts, and individuals)
• Experience working with SARS and handling client queries
• Exposure to Greatsoft, Sage, or Xero will be advantageous
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage and process income tax, provisional tax, and related submissions
• Handle SARS submissions via e-filing for companies, individuals, and trusts
• Liaise with SARS on a daily basis
• Communicate directly with clients and provide support
• Assist clients with tax-related queries and guidance
• Ensure accuracy and compliance across all submissions
