Job Description:

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Mining / Civils Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate land and site surveys, supporting construction and mining operations, and ensuring all measurements and data align with project specifications.

Minimum Requirements:
Elementary Survey Certificate (essential)
Basic Survey Certificate (essential)
Advanced Survey Certificate (essential)
Good Model Maker knowledge and experience
Proven experience in mining and/or civil construction surveying
Proficient in survey instruments (e.g., total station, GPS, levels)
Strong understanding of survey principles, mapping, and data recording
Ability to interpret plans, drawings, and technical documents
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Valid driver's licence

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys and set out works in accordance with project plans
Perform topographical, as-built, and control surveys
Ensure accuracy of measurements and maintain detailed survey records
Work closely with engineers, site managers, and contractors
Monitor and report on site progress and deviations
Maintain and calibrate survey equipment
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
