Job Opportunity: Financial Manager (CA)
Location: Northern Suburbs, Johannesburg
Salary: Market Related Negotiable (DOE)

Responsibilities:

Lead financial management for five premier restaurant locations.
Oversee strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
Ensure tax compliance and manage audits specific to the hospitality industry.
Collaborate with finance teams and other departments.
Develop financial policies and internal controls.
Present financial information to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from a recognized professional body
8-10+ years of financial management experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
Strong understanding of hospitality financial operations, including revenue management and cost control
Expertise in preparing and analysing financial statements and reports for multiple business units
Experience with tax compliance, audits, and financial regulations specific to the hospitality sector
Proficiency in financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Strong leadership skills for managing finance teams and collaborating with other departments
Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to stakeholders and executive management
Ability to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess financial performance and identify improvement opportunities
Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of industry trends and economic factors affecting the hospitality sector
Commitment to ethical financial practices and adherence to corporate governance standards
