Job Description:

Responsibilities:
• Attending workshop reception by receiving customer’s vehicles in for servicing and repairs.
• Responsible for obtaining the correct information from the client regarding service or repair items.
• Obtain the correct contact information at time of receiving the vehicle.
• Responsible for obtaining payment for the completed job.
• Obtaining authorization from customer, motor plan, fleets, insurance companies, warranty in due time, no work to be carried out without this authorisation.
• Responsible for keeping in contact with the client whilst the vehicle is in the workshop, informing and obtaining authorisation from client for any additional work and/or delays.
• Updating the BSI system if applicable.
• To promote the sale of workshop labour, parts and accessories by educating customers and up selling.
• To make sure that the correct process to hand over the vehicle to customer is followed.
• Ensuring that WIP and cash outstanding is followed up on a daily basis.
• Booking in of vehicles and ensuring that sufficient work is loaded for the day according to the BSI setup and the available hours for the day, to ensure service mix on booking according to Service Manager expectations.
• Ensuring that all the correct information has been updated on the DMS system before costing.
• To maintain above national CSI and NPS rating. Knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes.

Key Responsibilities:

Knowledge, skills, experience and personal attributes:
• Must have previous experience as a Service Advisor for a minimum of 2 years.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
• Computer literate.
• Competent, hardworking, and a committed individual.
• Must be able to work independently and under pressure.
• Must have strong attention to detail.

Qualifications:
• Grade 12
