FIELD SUPPORT TECHNICIAN – ALRODE (URGENT) - 5298

Daily travel to customer sites (Rustenburg, Brits, Witbank & surrounding areas)
˜ Company vehicle provided for site travel

Requirements:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum 5 years’ IT experience
• Strong networking experience
• Experience working with Microsoft operating systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Helpdesk or technical customer support experience
• Valid driver’s license (essential)
• Own transport to travel to office in Alberton
• Electronics or PC hardware experience advantageous
• Willingness to work long hours and standby when required

Key Duties:
• Installation and configuration of hardware systems
• Installation and setup of proprietary software solutions
• On-site fault finding and technical problem resolution
• Conducting customer product and software training
• Providing aftersales hardware and software support
• Telephonic, remote and on-site technical assistance
• Diagnosing and resolving networking-related issues
• Ensuring professional service delivery at all times
• Maintaining accurate service and support records
