Job Description:

We are recruiting an External Sales Representative for our client, based in Pinetown, Durban. This role is ideal for a driven sales professional with solid experience in the steel, wire, or manufacturing sector, who understands technical products and enjoys building long-term client relationships.

Minimum Requirements
• 3+ years external sales experience (steel / wire / manufacturing industry essential)
o Galvanised wire
o Annealed wire
o Black wire
o High tensile wire
o Welded mesh
o Field fencing
o Barbed wire
o Diamond mesh
o Reinforcing mesh and related wire products
o Custom wire solutions for industrial, construction, agricultural, and manufacturing clients
• Proven track record in B2B sales
• Valid driver’s licence (non-negotiable)
• Reside in Pinetown or surrounding Durban areas
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and professional

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage a client base within the Durban & surrounding regions
• Conduct regular customer visits and site calls
• Identify new business opportunities and grow market share
• Provide technical product advice and tailored solutions
• Prepare quotations, follow up on orders, and close sales
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
• Report on sales activity, pipelines, and forecasts
