Job Description:

PANEL BEATER – KPI’S

• Repairs on vehicles as per Client agreements

• Assessment of vehicles to establish the extent of damages

• Based on initial assessments, decide whether to repair or replace bodywork

• Remove damaged panels

• Strip & refit trim and panel interiors

• Refit new/repaired panels

• Repair damaged bodywork using traditional dolly and hammer or more modern
Techniques

• Repair small dents, holes or corroded areas using a compound filler

• Use jig alignment equipment

• Use Strong Puller to pull out any damage to semi-structural vehicle parts, such as the wheel arch or the bonnet

• Use a Line Puller to pull out damage to non-structural panels

• Use an Easy Puller to repair minor dents and to refine the work performed by the Strong and Line Pullers on other panels

• Remove existing paint and corrosions

• Ensure areas to be re-sprayed are clean at all times

• Mask off parts of vehicles which are not meant for res-praying

Key Responsibilities:

Trade certificate

Minimum 3 years experience is similar role
