SPRAY PAINTER APPRENTICE

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who wish to pursue a career in automotive spray painting and refinishing. Successful candidates will receive theoretical learning, hands-on training, and practical experience from a professional merSETA accredited service provider as well as exposure in a work environment at TCJ AUTOBODY over a 3-year apprenticeship program.

Minimum Requirements:
Grade 10, Grade 11, or Matric certificate.
Strong interest in automotive refinishing and vehicle appearance.
Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Reliable, disciplined, and hardworking.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to completing the full 3-year apprenticeship program.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist qualified spray painters with vehicle preparation and painting.
Learn surface preparation, masking, sanding, and priming techniques.
Assist with color matching and paint mixing.
Maintain spray booths, equipment, and work areas.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Complete all required training and assessments.
