Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates, assessing project requirements, and supporting the sales and project teams to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze project requirements, specifications, and technical drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates.

- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to clarify scope and identify potential risks or cost factors.

- Source and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricing.

- Prepare tender and quotation documents within specified deadlines.

- Update and maintain estimating databases and documentation for future reference.

- Participate in project handovers to ensure a smooth transition from estimate to execution.

Requirements:

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or a related field).

- Proven experience as a Technical Estimator in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

- Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
