Job Description:

The Site Project Manager’s role is primarily meant to strengthen the company’s site-based project capabilities and has been created to support the company’s overall growth strategy.
Responsibilities

Manage projects of varying scope from client locations and partly from our factory

Play a coordinative role between clients, factory management, site workers and subcontractors

Managing health & safety risks and adherence to protocols relevant to the work site

Ensuring compliance with pre-approved quality control plans

Ensuring timeous start and completion of projects

Managing the scope of work and ensuring that projects are executed within allocated budget

Representing the organization during project meetings

Execute the organization’s business development plan in line with the growth strategy

Uphold and promote the organization’s values as they relate to trust, respect, integrity, quality and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:


Must have a project management qualification (min. diploma level)

Must have experience in process or power plant maintenance environment

Must have experience with welding related projects

Must be physically and medically fit for working in site environments which at times may involve working long and odd hours, working in elevated heights, working in confined spaces

Must be capable of leading a team of workers under demanding circumstances

Must have customer facing experience

Minimum of 5 years working experience

Must have an engineering qualification (N6 or higher)

Welding qualification can be an added advantage but not mandatory

Risk assessment/fire protection qualifications can be an added advantage but not mandatory

Must have a clear criminal record
