Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior IT Technician to support our organization’s day-to-day IT operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in IT while gaining hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and basic network systems
• Provide first-line technical support to end-users and resolve IT-related issues
• Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems
• Set up user accounts, emails, and access permissions
• Perform routine system checks, updates, and basic maintenance
• Support senior IT staff with projects such as upgrades and installations
• Maintain accurate IT documentation and logs of issues/resolutions
• Ensure adherence to IT policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements
• Relevant IT qualification or currently studying towards one (advantageous)
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

Preferred Skills
• Entry-level certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, or similar)
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Exposure to troubleshooting and helpdesk environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
