Job Description:

Workshop Manager Position for Engine Rebuild Facility (Male applicants only)

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Workshop Manager for our engine rebuild facility. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the operations of the workshop, managing staff, ensuring the efficient and timely rebuilding of diesel engines, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:
Proven management and people skills
Extensive experience in heavy-duty diesel engine rebuilding
Experience as a diesel technician, particularly in field service
Strong organizational skills, neatness, and dedication
Quick-thinking and problem-solving ability in a fast-paced environment
Experience with Deutz engines is an added advantage
Willingness to work after hours and occasionally work overtime
MUST HAVE experience in management and engine rebuilding.

Salary: Negotiable based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Position Availability: The position is expected to be filled by January/February 2025.

Management: Supervise and manage workshop staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
Engine Rebuilding: Oversee the rebuilding process of heavy-duty diesel engines, ensuring that all work meets the company's quality standards.
Field Service: Lead and support field service operations, working as a diesel technician when necessary, ensuring that client needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
Problem Solving: Address technical issues that arise during engine rebuilds or in the field, offering solutions to keep projects on track.
Maintenance and Inspections: Ensure all workshop tools and machinery are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
Customer Support: Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded, including handling any after-hours requests or issues.
