Retail Sales Consultant

Job Brief:
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Retail Sales Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers in finding the right products, and driving sales through engagement and product knowledge. Responsibilities:

Greet and direct customers as they enter the store.
Provide accurate information regarding product features, pricing, and after-sales services.
Answer customer inquiries about specific products or services.
Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing decisions.
Cross-sell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Ensure that store racks are fully stocked and organized.
Manage returns of merchandise efficiently.
Collaborate with the retail team to provide excellent customer service, especially during peak times.
Inform customers about discounts, promotions, and special offers.
Gather customer feedback and relay it to the Store Manager for continuous improvement.
Stay updated on new products/services to provide informed recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative or similar role is preferred.
Understanding of the retail sales process and consumer behavior principles.
Familiarity with inventory stocking procedures is beneficial.
Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
Track record of achieving sales quotas in previous roles is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with customers.
Ability to perform well in fast-paced environments while maintaining a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
Matric or NQF Level 4; additional education in Marketing or related fields is advantageous.
