Job Description:

Sizwe Amanzi is looking for an experienced Business Development Managerto drive growth across the Eastern Cape.
Reporting directly to our Executive Committee, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and converting leads into long-term business.
Proven business development and sales success
Strong lead acquisition and conversion experience
Knowledge of public-sector procurement processes
Water, wastewater, infrastructure, or municipal sector experience advantageous
Eastern Cape-based candidates preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the Eastern Cape.
- Build and maintain relationships with municipal, government, industrial, and private-sector stakeholders.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through to contract award.
- Drive lead acquisition, qualification, proposal development, and conversion activities.
- Monitor and respond to public-sector procurement opportunities, tenders, and requests for proposals.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to develop client-focused solutions.
- Represent Sizwe Amanzi at industry events, networking forums, and stakeholder engagements.
- Provide regular market intelligence and strategic insights to the Executive Committee.
- Achieve and exceed agreed business development and revenue targets.
