Sales Specialist

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Johannesburg for a Sales Specialist.
The Sales Specialist will be responsible for engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable products.
Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales process, providing exceptional customer service, executing sales strategies, and conducting product training sessions for clients when necessary.
This role also involves maintaining client relationships and assisting in achieving sales targets.

Qualifications
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
• Proficiency in Sales and Sales Management, including closing deals and meeting targets
• Experience in Training clients or team members on product use and offerings
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in the interior design or home improvement industry is a plus
• Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or related fields are advantageous

Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Service:
o Drive sales by providing expert product knowledge and design advice to clients.
o Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service.
o Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
o Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
o Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize showroom performance.
Showroom Management:
o Maintain a visually appealing and organized showroom, ensuring displays are current and reflective of design trends.
o Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and tracking stock.
o Ensure the showroom is clean, well-maintained, and adheres to safety standards.
o Coordinate showroom events, promotions, and visual merchandising changes.
Operations & Administration:
o Manage showroom budgets and control expenses.
o Prepare sales reports and analyze showroom performance.
o Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and competitor activities.
o Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
o Manage relationships with vendors.
