Job Description:

A well-established independent brokerage based in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced and motivated Personal Lines Underwriter with strong technical underwriting knowledge, excellent client service skills, and the ability to work effectively in a brokerage environment.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in Personal Lines underwriting
RE5 qualification completed
FAIS compliant
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (written and spoken)
Own reliable transport
Certified and proficient in the Santam Broker Portal
Proven experience compiling and submitting quotations via the Santam Broker Portal
Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure
Advantageous
Previous brokerage experience
Commercial underwriting experience and claims handling
Experience working on multiple insurer portals, including Santam, Hollard, and Bryte
